PMMI,The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies, is organizing its first-ever Silent Auc- tion to support packaging and processing education. This virtual event, benefitting the PMMI Foundation, will take place in conjunction with the organization’s 2021 Annual Meeting in November.The Annual Meet- ing brings together leaders from the packaging and processing industry. Donations Items to donate could include travel packages, tick- ets to events, alcohol (wine or beer), unique experi- ences, entertainment items, food and gourmet items, items for your pet, memorabilia, collectibles, golf and sports gear and artwork. All proceeds from the Silent Auction will go direct- ly to the PMMI Foundation and help support the fu- ture of the packaging and processing industry, includ- ing scholarships and manufacturing summer camps. Dscoop Edge San Diego Canceled HP and Dscoop have jointly announced the decision to cancel the Dscoop Edge San Diego event,which had been scheduled for October 24-27 in San Diego, Cali- fornia. Edge Denver is scheduled for March 6-9, 2022, at the Gaylord Resort and Convention Center. Dscoop is also exploring ways to enable PSPs and partners to interact safely and in-person on a local level in 2021.
