Session Three: Scaling and Sustaining A2J with technology
Access to justice is in a permanent state of crisis: only one in five people get the legal help they need. While GenAI may be the most powerful “accelerator” the legal sector has ever seen, it won’t close the justice gap on its own unless we also change the underlying human stuff — the beliefs, incentives and structures that shape the justice system. This session explores what is required to change the 'human stuff' so that we can harness the full potential of technology and ensure everyone in Australia has access to justice, not just improving outcomes at the margins.
