Bribery Investigations Policy
In any case of finding an employee involved in offering or/and accepting bribery, there will commence an investigation procedure for these actions, according to the company's anti-bribery and corruption policy. The president of M.I.D. House of Diamonds , Dotan Meirov, will conduct the investigation. In case of his unavailability, the president will appoint another management member to conduct the investigation in his place. The accused employee will present the management with all the required evidence and information to conduct the investigation. The investigation process will be conducted in confidentiality, without harming any part of the investigation and its participants. After conducting the investigation, the investigator must prepare a report that displays his opinion on whether there has been a bribery incident and his reasons for it. This report must entail all the relevant descriptions and people who were involved in the incident.
The next step will be the investigator's decision in this matter.
In case the investigator finds the employee indeed accused of bribery, he will decide the appropriate punishment, in accordance with the severity of the violation, which may even result in termination.
