Selection Process for Diamond Suppliers Policy

Supplier selection is based upon criteria that are vital to a particular process and indicative of future success at " M.I.D. House of Diamonds. " The criteria are weighted and some attributes may be more important for one process team than another. For example, technical support may be more important for a surveillance process team than field service and support capabilities, which will be weighted accordingly. " M.I.D. House of Diamonds. " will only work with suppliers that comply with the Kimberley Process. The company ensures that all of the rough goods that we sell or buy will be accompanied by a Kimberley Process certificate; therefore there will be no dealings with conflict diamonds in our company. Furthermore, there is a zero-tolerance policy for any dealings that involve conflict diamonds in the company, made by any party whatsoever.
