Checkers is a 7-year-old black and white jack with a proven show record. He has sired three foals. Prior to my ownership, he belonged to Cedar Oaks Farm, which was winding down its breeding program and did not register foals during that time. As a result, Checkers may not have any progeny listed with ADMS, this information was confirmed by sale management with Cedar Oaks farm manager. In 2024, Checkers competed in five shows across Texas and Oklahoma, earning: 3 Best of Breed wins | 4 Grand Champion titles | 1 Reserve Champion | 5 All-Around High Point show wins He is professionally trained by me in all phases of show classes and excels at driving, jumping, obstacle courses, trail in hand, showmanship, halter, and cones. His eager-to-please attitude makes him an outstanding and versatile performer. Checkers is also very easy to handle. He crosses water, walks over bridges, and has excellent trailer and grooming manners. He is an excellent driver. He is not spooky. He’s not aggressive, has no bad habits, and is sound and healthy. The consignor, not being a breeder, has only used him as a show donkey. If you’re seeking a jack with presence, performance, and pedigree, Checkers deserves your serious consideration.
