Zabrina Jenkins (via Zoom) Robert Nellams (via Zoom) Staff to the Board: Jim Wohlpart, President (via Zoom) Joel Klucking, Board Treasurer and Senior Vice President for Finance and Administration (via Zoom) Dania Cochran, Board Secretary and Chief of Staff (via Zoom) Ellen Evans, Assistant Attorney General (via Zoom) Kim Dawson, Executive Assistant to the President/Board of Trustees (in person) Chair Hensler convened the public board meeting at 4:15 p.m. and explained that the board has set aside six minutes for public comment. Please connect with our Board Secretary, Dania Cochran, to get information on submitting official communications to the Trustees. Public Comment Griff Tester, Chair, Department of Sociology, made public comments regarding accountability at Central Washington University. Board Discussion Trustee Charbonneau reported that the Board of Trustees Academic Affairs Council (BOT AAC) has been meeting with the Faculty Senate Executive Committee (FSEC) every two weeks. Due to all the listening the board has done, they have decided to add standing reports from each of the shared governance groups to each regularly scheduled board meeting moving forward. This will include reports from ASCWU, Employee Council (classified staff), Exempt Employee Association, and Faculty Senate. The Board has agreed that it is important that we review shared governance with outside assistance, so informal requests for quotes and qualifications will be going out soon.
