Any faculty member who has not opted into the paper ballot option before the February 10 deadline will receive an electronic ballot on Wednesday, February 11, when voting opens. Eligible voting members include all current non-tenure track CWU faculty at least 0.50 FTE or with an annual or multi-annual contract, and all tenure-track and tenured CWU faculty members. • Tuesday, February 10 at noon: Deadline for opting into paper ballots • Wednesday, February 11 by noon: Electronic ballot links emailed out. • Wednesday, February 18 at 5pm: Deadline to submit electronic ballots or vote via paper ballot at polling station. Paper ballots must be postmarked. • Online secure ballots and paper ballots via the polling station must be submitted by February 18, 2026. Mailed ballots must be postmarked by February 18, 2026. Results of the vote will be shared with the university no later than February 25, 2026. Ballot Language The ballot will include one question: Do you have confidence in the leadership of President Jim
Wohlpart? You may choose from responses, “yes,” “no,” or “abstain.” • A yes vote will indicate you have confidence in the President • A no vote will indicate you do not have confidence in the President
• An abstention vote indicates that a faculty member chose not to vote either “yes” or “no.” Note: Senate hopes all eligible faculty will participate in the vote, so the results best represent the faculty as a whole.
