The American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA) has released its November 2022 Packaging Papers Monthly report. Total packaging papers & specialty packaging ship- ments in November decreased nine percent compared to November 2021. They were down three percent when compared to the same 11 months of 2021. The bleached packaging papers operating rate was 81.7 percent, down 2.8 points from November 2021 and down 4.1 points year-to-date. Shipments of unbleached bag & sack paper were 81,200 short tons for the month of November, down 7.9 percent from November 2021. The complete report can be purchased by visiting www.afandpa.org .
