S anfilippo Baseball’s state-of-the-art 6,000-square-foot facility serves both baseball and softball players with multifunctional space that can be split up into seven batting cages, or opened up for fielding and throwing practice. Youth teams can rent Sanfilippo Baseball’s indoor facility for skills training, practices, and simulated games. Their expert staff also offers private lessons, with all coaches having professional or college playing and/or coaching experience.
Coaches focus on a mental approach to baseball, explained Steve Sanfilippo, Owner of Sanfilippo Baseball. The experienced coaches provide young players with the best tools for success, instilling a passion and love for the game. Sanfilippo Baseball also shares their space with Baseball Lab Wisconsin, who hosts four community baseball programs throughout the year. When selecting a space, Sanfilippo said they prioritized size and location. They needed the perfect-sized facility for Baseball Lab Wisconsin to host their
community baseball programs — this meant a building with high enough ceilings and a flexible, multipurpose layout. By working with St. John Properties, Sanfilippo Baseball was able to find not only a building that could accommodate their unique use, but also a convenient location for players and their families. “It was a great spot for surrounding areas to all have a great indoor baseball facility,” said Sanfilippo. “Plus, the Mequon Public Market with surrounding restaurants makes it a great place for families to drop off their players while going for a bite to eat or coffee.”
