Oh!mino Nutrition - September 2021

FOUNDER’S CORNER HOW MICHAEL BALANCES OH!MINO, FAMILY, AND FITNESS

really excited to have just launched an amazing discount program for retired and active military and first responders! If you’re a trainer or own a fitness business, you can schedule a time to talk with me about that or Oh!mino’s professional programs by visiting Calendly.com/mmaynard/professional-calls . What’s harder for me is remembering to balance work with other things, like coming out of my home office to say hi to my daughters; sitting down to a home-cooked dinner from my wife, Darlene; or crashing on the couch every Monday night to watch the “The Bachelor” or “The Bachelorette.” (I’m the one and only guy in my family, and I’ve decided that if my girls want to watch reality TV, I’m there!) Fitness is the third ball I juggle. It’s important to me that I continue to get stronger every week because I’m fighting age with everything I have. As a guy in my mid-50s, I don't have time to play games. Amazingly, since I started taking Oh!mino more than two years ago, I’ve been able to make gains weekly without plateauing! Every single week, I add either reps or plates in at least one muscle group. If you’re not doing the same thing, you either need to get yourself some Oh!mino or try harder. I swear it’s the reason people assume I’m still in my 40s.

How do you decide which to prioritize? Work is easy for me to fit in because it’s very important to me. I’m obsessed with growing Oh!mino and building a community around this little supplement brand. For example, I’m

At this point, my biggest downfall is my flexibility, but I’m working on it. One day, I know all of this yoga and stretching will pay off, and I’ll get to add another check mark to the fitness section of my work/family/fitness balance sheet.

Stay fit, my friend!
