History of FLB and Program Summary
First Liberty Bank is a leading independent community bank, in Texas, with locations in Liberty, Dayton, Hardin, Huffman, Mont Belvieu and China (Beaumont), FLB also offers insurance and investment services through its Insurance Agency and Investment Services. Most recent expansion is a LPO and DPO that services the Livingston area. Since 1913, FLB has provided a full array of banking services to citizens and businesses throughout the community. FLB focuses on providing unsurpassed personal service, strong financial management, and access to the latest technological innovation. Big bank ability with small bank agility–that's FLB. With our local banking evolving and expanding for the past 109 years, our local communities have played a huge impact on our success of expansion. FLB is passionate about our local organizations, school districts, sports programs, military, local businesses and others less fortunate. We observe what goes on in our local and surrounding communities to see how we can help be of service not just for financial needs, but for needs of others. FLB directors, managers, and employees have a strong commitment to our communities. organizations associated with it. Trinity Valley Exposition is an organization located in Liberty, TX to promote agriculture, youth organizations, youth activities and education of the youth.
One of the bigger sponsors of the organization Host and served dinner in honor of our sponsors of the organization. FLB served around 150-200 attendees.

TVE is not the only organization that we sponsor or donate towards. We sponsored by purchasing new books and supplies for our China ISD library. FLB sponsored a new children's museum that is currently in production. Lastly, we sponsored the championship rings for Liberty ISD softball girls at 3 time champions.

IBAT BEST IN COMMUNITY BANKING Community Service Support through Education FLB shows support through education by educating our youth in finance and operations of a financial institution. In recent years, we have developed a program called Jr. Board. The Jr. Board consists of top students that are recommended by local school counselors to partake in the program. These students attend monthly meetings, volunteer at events hosted by FLB, learn how the bank operates, and at the end of the program, earn a scholarship for their attendance and commitment.

FLB embraces community service by supporting our local school districts and educators. Educators are the core to what sets students up to thrive in the future. We were able to show our appreciation by serving lunch, cooked by our own team members, and gifts. We are happy to serve our educators in Liberty, Chambers, Polk, and Jefferson County.

FLB Team and Barbers Hill Ag Students receive snow cones at their open meeting
FLB Team serve hotdogs for Barbers Hill Band
We also reach out to our youth groups and provide the students with lunch and snow cones. We are able to bring our BBQ Cook and Snow cone Trailer to our community school campuses. Along with they treats we are able to provide, we give away goodies to a few lucky students that they will utilize in the classes like headphones for their computers.

FLB also attends various Career Fairs in our school districts. We provide information on what positions the bank offers to help educate our youth when they are considering career paths. We also provide information to help with resume writing, how to prepare for an interview, and what attire is acceptable for an interview.

FLB Team Members at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Fall Festival to educate on Finacial LIteracy
A key component in how we invest back into the community through education is Financial Literacy for our LMI/MM areas. We provide informative education tools on how to earn, save and invest, protect, budget, and borrow. We realized this is a need in our communities with many people not learning the basics of finance.

When we volunteer, we have the opportunity to meet many new people. Working alongside other team members, who also understand the importance, is beneficial for the team, company, and community. Additionally, it will help to better understand the circumstances of other members of your community.
