Zac Craig President, Visit Oklahoma City
Zac Craig was appointed president of Visit Oklahoma City in February 2021. Within this role, Craig leads efforts that contribute to the economic well-being of Oklahoma City and its citizens as well as enhancing OKC’s brand by marketing and selling the city as a premier destination for group, leisure, business and other related travel. Craig comes to the position after more than 11 years with Omni Hotels & Resorts where he most recently served as area director of sales and marketing. Within this role, he led a field-based team of 90 professionals and was responsible for the overall strategic sales and marketing direction for multiple hotels and attractions across the southeast. His hospitality career began in guest services working for Promus Hotel Corporation at the DoubleTree Hotel at Warren Place in Tulsa. A native of Oklahoma, Craig received his Master of Science in hospitality administration from Oklahoma State University and his undergraduate degree from the University of Tulsa. He currently serves on the RIVERSPORT Foundation Board of Directors, Oklahoma Hotel and Lodging Association Board of Directors, School of Hospitality and Tourism Management Advisory Board at Oklahoma State University, Destinations International Advocacy Committee and is active with many other industry organizations.
David Lorenz Executive Consultant, MMGY
Dave Lorenz served as vice president of Travel Michigan until retirement in December 2023. In this role, he was responsible for leading the state’s tourism branding, advertising and public relations efforts, overseeing the award-winning Pure Michigan tourism campaign and coordinating overall statewide tourism initiatives. Today, Lorenz serves as an executive consultant for MMGY Next Factor. Lorenz is immediate past chair of the National Council of State Tourism Directors, served as chair of Great Lakes USA, the regional international marketing consortium and Cruise the Great Lakes, a two-nation destination cruise marketing organization, and on the executive committee of the Board of Directors for the U.S. Travel Association. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Michigan Cares for Tourism and the West Michigan Tourism Association. Prior to Travel Michigan, Mr. Lorenz was the Manager of Partnerships and Promotions, for Meijer, Inc. He also had 14 years of experience in radio broadcasting in roles varying from announcer and news reporter to numerous management positions. In 2023, he was named as the U.S. Travel Association “National Travel Director of the Year. Lorenz attended Western Michigan University.
