S AM Sam’s rebellious teenage years saw him smoking weed at twelve, stealing hundreds of dollars from his Aunt Marsha, and even throwing a large party in her house when they were away, during which a fire nearly burned down their kitchen. Now estranged from his Aunt and Uncle’s side of the family and still rebuilding his relationship with his own parents. Since high school, he’s found balance and moderation, and has stepped up as a much more responsible person. While he is quick witted and sharp, he is also reserved and emotionally awkward.

C AST OF C HARACTERS Sam’s aunt, the wife of the now deceased Keith. A stricter parent than Keith , and being the Catholic she is, she asks for a chaplain when Keith passes away. Sam’s cousin, and the daughter of Marsha and Keith . When she enters the film, she swiftly takes the reigns of the situation, which is true to her compassionate and incredibly helpful and selfless personality. While Riley is now a chaplain for the police department, in high school, he sold drugs to Sam, and anyone else who would ask. Irresponsible, holier-than-thou, and just plain ridiculous, Riley provides much conflict for the story.

Marsha:

Barb :

Riley :

Antony : Tom :

The massage therapist who shows up to massage Keith , not knowing that Keith had passed away. Sam’s father who asks Sam to go over to Marsha and Keith's house since they’re neighbors, igniting the conflict of the story.

Henry :

Sam’s little brother he’s initially taking care of in the story.
