Managed Care Plan Performance - PASSED (AARP SUPPORTED) House Bill 855, by Representative Bartleman (companion Senate Bill 1258, by Senator Jones). The legislation is Chapter No. 2022-54, effective July 1, 2022. The legislation requires Medicaid Managed Medical Assistance plans (MMA) to collect and report an expanded set of performance measures for quality improvement. Beginning in calendar year 2025, each MMA plan will collect and report all the Adult Core Set behavioral health measures, which are not currently required by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA). Beginning in calendar year 2026, each MMA plan will stratify all performance measure data by recipient age, race, ethnicity, primary language, sex, and disability status.
