Apex Customers Win In Three Flexo Award Ceremonies During three recent 2017 award ceremonies, numer- ous Apex International customers were nominated and 34 were declared award winners for their submis- sions printed with Apex anilox technology. EFTA Benelux, FlexoTech and FlexoStars recognized the finest in flexo printed paper and corrugated board. The 2nd EFTA-Benelux Flexo Awards, a biennial competition that accepts entries from printers in Bel- gium and The Netherlands, was held in Antwerp on November 9th. During the ceremony, seven of eight print gold awards were Apex customers: Max Aarts B.V. ; Oerlemans Plastics B.V.; Etiket Nederland; Pa- pierindustrie Adriaan Dekker B.V.; Mondi Poperinge; and double award-winner VPK Packaging N.V. On November 23rd, during the FlexoTech Awards, four Apex customers took home a gold award: Cov- eris; Stora Enso; Smurfit Kappa CRP; and Flex-N-Roll. The French Technical Association of Flexography (ATF) held its 31st edition of FlexoStars in Saint-Malo on December 14th. Gold winners that printed with Apex anilox technology were: Sical; International Paper; Richard Laleu; Gascogne Sacs; Lysipack; and Palamy. Gascogne Sacks was also awarded the Techni- cal Jury Award, and Smurfit Kappa Colorys received the Artistic Jury Award. Additional Apex customers also received silver & bronze awards and nominations in all three events.
