The Mill Marketing Brochure 2024/2025 Season

A LETTER FROM SALLY HUGHES & ADAM ROLSTON

It is our 42nd year of business and what a year it has been already! Our production of CALENDAR GIRLS was a tremendous success, touching hearts and bringing laughter in equal measure. It was followed by the delightfully charming and moving THREE MEN IN A BOAT , and Alan Ayckbourn’s BEDROOM FARCE had audiences roaring with laughter — all shows received rave reviews and packed houses. We couldn’t be more proud of the joy these productions have brought to our audiences. “THE 2025 SEASON IS SHAPING UP TO BE ONE OF OUR BEST YET, FILLED WITH LAUGHTER, DRAMA, AND UNFORGETTABLE MOMENTS.” Now, as we move into the next chapter of our season, we have the World Premiere of THE WHISTLING , a chilling ghost story that promises to send shivers down your spine. And, of course, our much-anticipated Christmas production of WHITE CHRISTMAS will bring festive cheer and a touch of musical magic to The Mill — with plenty of snow! Looking ahead to 2025, we’ve got even more in store. We’re excited to announce the arrival of table service in our restaurant, coming this February, just in time for the hilarious Ray Cooney comedy IT RUNS IN THE FAMILY . While this will be a fantastic new addition to your dining experience, don’t worry — we’ll still be serving The Mill’s famous pie and our beloved bread & butter pudding! We know how much our guests look forward to those traditional favourites.

The excitement then continues with DON’T ROCK THE BOAT later in the year, and we’re especially excited for the World Premiere adaption of DEATH COMES TO PEMBERLEY , P.D. James’ bestselling novel that has captivated audiences both in print and on screen. The 2025 season is shaping up to be one of our best yet, filled with laughter, drama, and unforgettable moments. As always, our waterside terrace bar remains open all year round, offering delicious afternoon teas, sandwiches, cakes and beverages. And we’re thrilled to see more performances taking place in our bar and restaurant, including a pocket version of THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST served with afternoon tea, and directed by the hugely talented Tam Williams!

“WE COULDN’T BE MORE PROUD OF THE JOY OUR PRODUCTIONS HAVE BROUGHT TO OUR AUDIENCES.”

Thank you, as ever, for your unwavering support. The Mill remains the special place it is because of you, our loyal audience. We can’t wait to share more wonderful experiences with you as we embark on another exciting year.
