two Assemblies. She spoke about future community service and training plans and was assured by MICIC Thomas that the Consistories are here to assist and support wherever needed.
Another highlight of the day came from the remarks of Illustrious Kevin J. Hecht, 33°, Deputy of the Orient of Connecticut, Northern Masonic Jurisdiction who was accompanied by Illustrious Bruce T. Work, 33°, active member of the USCNMJ. Deputy Hecht reminded us of the days when both Consistories worked in tandem with each other through visitations and jointly participating in degree work (in costume). He said it would be a pleasure to see that comradery
rekindled. III Hecht, 33° presented MICIC Thomas with an engraved aluminum round plate as a memento of their u n i t y a n d commitment. After
remarks from representative SGIG Raynard Hughes, 33° and MWGM Alfred B. Grady, 33° who introduced the Grand Lodge officers accompanying him, he praised the Golden Circle for their good work. He noted that we are all traveling the same road in the same direction together. MICIC Thomas called upon III. Dr. Rev. Alvan N. Johnson, 33° to offer up prayer in memorial for our fallen Fraters. III Charles L. Robinson, 33° No.80, S.P. Corbin Pressey No.7, S.P. Willie C. Mewborn No.7, and S.P. Frank L. Wright No.80. No further business to come before the 130th Annual Session of the Connecticut Council of Deliberation, a Chain of Fellowship was formed and after the closing prayer the Session was closed by MICC Ronald A. Thomas 33°, Deputy for the Orient of Connecticut.
One of the highlights of the CCOD was the presentation of the Golden Sash to Past Deputy Edward Cherry, 33° for his long and dedicated service to the Orient of Connecticut. SGIG Cherry, 33° was not made aware of the presentation
