From their union, they brought us six wonderful grandchildren, Zhamirah, Robert III, Zaria, Dallas, Oakley, and now little Zeke. It has been a wonderful 43 years with 39 years of marriage.” The New Jersey State Grand Assembly, Order of the Golden Circle (NJSGA) under the leadership of L.L. Daphne P. Roberts, State Grand Loyal Lady Ruler convened on November 25, 2023 and received SGIG Oglesby and his delegation. Ill. Oglesby presided over the Nomination and Election of Officers for the ensuing 2023-2024 year. They are State Grand Loyal Lady Ruler Lisa Gist-Ragland; SGLL Asst. Ruler Nicole Mingo Horton; SGLL Priestess Paulette McGee-Thomas; SGLL Guide Kathie Lofland; SGLL Treasurer Evette Davis; SGLL Secretary Marilyn Jones; SGLL Herald Tony Bethea; SGLL Standard Bearer Tony Bethea; SGLL Inner Guard Tolara Deloatch; SGLL Outer Guard Rachel Lewis; SGLL Assistant Treasurer Jessi Banks and SGLL Assistant Secretary Christine Sales; SGLL Musician Martha Meyers and SGLL Photographer Renee Harris. At the NJCOD’s Annual Scholarship Banquet, GIG Harry Lee Young, 33°, Veteran Resource Committee, State of New Jersey presented our Second Annual “Veterans of Distinction”. This is the Distinguished Service Medal of New Jersey's highest military award. This award was presented to several Fraters and Loyal Ladies who served multiple campaigns. They were given the New Jersey State Medals for their service inside and

Cain Scholarship Awards Committee under the leadership of GIG Walter A. Smith, 33°, Chairman, continues to celebrate the accomplishments and educational milestones of 8 deserving “2022” graduates from across New Jersey. NJCOD awarded eight $1,000 academic scholarships to Mr. Jibril Barksdale, Ms. Anniyah V. Cox, U.S.C. Award: Ms. Mya Watson, Mr. Henry Grady James, IV, Ms. Kelly J. McCain, Misa K.
