The 110th Annual Session of the Indiana Council of Deliberation (INCOD) was held September 17, 2023 at the Indianapolis Marriott East with SGIG Carl Drummer, I NDIANA Sovereign Grand Inspector General Carl Drummer, 33°
Fund Educational Grant was awarded to Xavier Ntamere, a student at Howard University. Another highlight was the awarding of the Grady B. Hinkle Award to GIG Donnie Johnson 33° for his long and distinguished service to the INCOD. He is also a Past Most Worshipful Grand Master of the MWPHGL of Indiana. The following INCOD officers were elected for the INCOD:
• 1st Lt. Commander — GIG Michael Westbrooks
33°, presiding. Also present were the Honorable William Robinson, Most Worshipful Grand Master of the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Indiana; SGIG Edward Brooks 33°, Secretary General of the Holy Empire representing the Sovereign Grand Commander; and SGIG Osumana Cassell 33°, Deputy, Orient of Iowa. Other visitors included SGIG Milton Jackson 33° (IL) and SGIG Patrick Peacock 33° (IA). Malta Consistory #34 served as the Host Consistory and SP Johnnie Edwards, Commander-in-Chief, opened the INCOD.

One of the highlights of the Council was the awarding of the James Terry Scholarships to three outstanding graduating high school seniors – Serenity Evans (Psychology major, IUPUI); Princeton Young (Business Management major, Tippen University) and Raydon Jones (Nursing major, University of Evansville). The Benevolent
SGIG Drummer closed the Council with brief remarks and congratulated the newest Sublime Princes of the John T. Dabney Class of 2023: Gary Mopp, Samuel Reed, and Ervin Oswald of Magic City Consistory #62; and Martin Hill and Humphrey Naglia of Constantine Consistory #25.
