Council of Deliberation was attended to and handled efficiently. The 66th Most Worshipful Grand Master (GIG) Robert M. Estelle Jr. (26) was properly received and provided his comments. The statewide Commanders of the Rite meeting was conducted by SGIG Gregory S. Snead 33° (15). All Valleys submitted favorable reports and all officers were returned to their stations. This year’s donation of $500 was made to The African- American Museum of Cleveland. Director Frances Caldwell accepted the donation on behalf of the museum (below). She conveyed her thanks. PCIC Emanuel Ashong 33° (15) is a Board member.

Assembly No. 22, Valley of Dayton hosted “You’ve Got Talent 2: Talent Showcase 2023” on Saturday, October 14, 2023. Children from ages 5 through 18 had the chance to exhibit their skills in dancing, singing, poetry, and other talents. Congratulations to GIG Willie A. Terrell 33° (26) (third vice president and scholarship chair of the Dayton NAACP) on being an awarded the Distinguished Volunteer of the Year Award during the 72nd Hall of Freedom Awards on, Friday, October 27, 2023. The 114th Ohio Council of Deliberation and 52nd Ohio Grand Assembly was held in the Valley of Cleveland from Friday, October 27 through Sunday, October 29, 2023. Friday evening, as guests arrived, Deputy for the Orient of Ohio, SGIG Carl A. Williams 33° (15), hosted his annual dinner. A welcome hospitality was held later that night and was well attended. Saturday morning found the chamber opened and the reading of the Deputy’s Allocution. He emphasized the success of the programs for the Orient. The highlight of the morning session was the bestowal of the Gold Stole of Honor upon SGIG Otis Moss Jr. 33° (15) by Lieutenant Grand Commander SGIG Sidney D. Broadnax Jr. 33° (20) who represented our Sovereign Grand Commander Dr. Melvin J. Bazemore 33° (6). Illustrious Moss
