CLINICAL STUDIES We offer a range of clinical trials at The Kinghorn Cancer Centre for the treatment of patients with breast cancer. Find the full list at garvan.org.au/breast-cancer-clinical-trials . Exercise and chemotherapy We are seeking female volunteers undergoing preoperative chemotherapy for early stage breast cancer. This study will investigate the effects of exercise and its role as an adjunct therapy to breast cancer treatments. The women in the intervention group will undergo a supervised exercise session directly after chemotherapy with the aim to improve blood flow to the tumour and the re-distribution of tumour-killing immune cell to infiltrate the tumour.
