1. Computation of Grade Point Averages: Grade point averages (GPA) are determined at the end of each grading period. The cumulative GPA is computed using the following formula: quality points earned divided by hours attempted. 2. Distribution of Grades: Students should share their student portal username and password with their parents, if they desire to have access to their student’s grades. Due to FERPA regulations, without written consent from the student, WOLBI is not authorized to discuss the student’s academic standing with any third parties. 3. Correction of Grades: Students have two weeks to question grades by contacting the Assistant to the Academic Dean. Auditing Auditing is not common but allowed in certain instances. In such cases, the auditor will be requested to attend all sessions of the course. The auditor is responsible for knowing and following class standards as outlined in the student handbook. Fees may be assessed to cover institutional costs. Video recordings of all classes are available on the campus network for review. Bookstore credit All full-time teaching faculty are allotted a $100 credit in the bookstore per year for the purchase of books to support their teaching research. Procurement procedures For items under $20 (staplers, rubber bands, etc.) check with the Administrative Assistant to the Executive Office. For items over $20 submit a PO with your department head.
