REGISTRATION AND WITHDRAWAL DEADLINES: The last day to register for a trainer option is June 16. The last day to register for the league-only option is June 30. A $200 non-refundable deposit with auto-draw payment plan set-up or full payment is due at the time of registration. Teams registering for a “trainer option” have until June 16 to withdraw and receive a refund, minus the $200 deposit. After June 16, the training portion of the fee is non-refundable. EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS: Teams choose their own uniforms and where to purchase them. Teams may opt to wear reversible NYS jerseys, t-shirts from local hobby stores or full uniforms; all options are acceptable. Soccer cleats or gym shoes, shin guards, water bottle and an age- appropriate soccer ball is also required. ROSTER ELIGIBILITY: Teams are grade- based. Players may “play up” one grade level. However, players may not “play down” a grade level even if the player’s age is the same of those in the lower grade. 1st graders are ineligible to participate on 2nd grade teams.
REGISTRATION IS BY TEAM ONLY: Head coaches complete their team’s registration online, choosing the preferred trainer or no-trainer option. A $200, non-refundable deposit (or full payment) is due at the time of registration. Nonresidents are charged an additional $20 per player (collected during the roster development process). Rostered players reimburse coaches accordingly. WEEKLY PRACTICES: Teams practice 1-2 times per week (with or without a trainer; options listed above) for approximately 60 minutes. Practice location and time is set by the training company based on team preferences and trainer availability. WEEKLY GAMES: Teams participate in weekly NPSL Saturday games (8 games; scores and standings are recorded; 1st and 2nd place teams are awarded at the end of the season). Games are played at various times and locations. Games will

Individual players that would like to play in the NPSL but don’t have a team, may add themselves to the interest list. Coaches looking for additional players are provided with the parent contact information and the coach will contact parents directly to discuss team information. Placement is not guaranteed. This is NOT a registration for the program.
