Kids First Track and Field • AGES 6-14 Coaches focus on teaching sprints, hurdles, jumps, running and throws in a safe and fundamental way. The program consists of body-balance techniques and speed and quickness and agility drills designed to produce a safer, more powerful athlete. Certified coaches prepare players to play, enjoy and be successful. Learn basic rules, how to throw and score points offensively and how to protect the goal defensively. Martial Arts: ISKC Pre-Karate and Safety • AGES 4-6 Young children will develop agility, strength and coordination skills through fun and creative activities. This program, specifically designed to work with growing minds and bodies, enhances memory and agility skills, too. Watch your child blossom while learning karate and having a blast at the same time! Beginning students will not be permitted to register in the current session after the second class has met. Registration for continuers through advanced students will be accepted after the start date, but full class fee will be required. Uniforms and belt testing are options available through the ISKC instructor for an additional fee. The program targets many building blocks including respect, self-esteem, self-confidence and leadership, but most importantly, family involvement. Parents may participate with their children at no cost as part of the Parent Helper Program. There is a Mandatory Uniform Requirement for this program; details will be provided at first class.
