Beginner 1 Horse Lover Camp (Ages 8-16) Kickstart your horse journey this summer at a camp perfect for beginners! Campers will master riding basics like mounting, steering, and gaits while learning essential care skills such as grooming, feeding, and anatomy. Students rotate through daily group activities with horse assignments. Beginner 2 Horse Lover Camp (Ages 8-16) Designed for riders with prior camp or lesson experience, Beginner 2 is for those who can lead, groom, and ride at a walk independently. Campers will master new skills like diagonals, figure 8s, and trot poles while learning advanced care topics including first aid, feed Campers will learn the basics of horse care, riding, and general knowledge about horses. The riding portion of each day is tailored to each child’s abilities, with staff on hand to assist. By the end of the camp, participants will know how to groom a horse, identify and place parts of the tack, sit properly in the saddle, interpret horse emotions, recognize basic horse anatomy, and give a horse a bath. Pee Wee Camp 2 (Ages 5-7) Has your young rider completed Pee Wee classes at NTEC? If so, they’re ready for our Level 2 Camp! This program helps riders enhance their balance and control at the walk and trot. Ready to saddle up?
