As we reflect on the second quarter of 2025, I take great pride in the collective accomplishments of our team. Among the highlights, Traders Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri was honoured with the British Airways Holidays Customer Excellence Award 2024 , placing us among the region’s highest -rated properties. This recognition reflects your unwavering dedication to delivering heartfelt hospitality, a core value of our Shangri-La culture. Our commitment to inclusivity was further strengthened through our partnership with MRC-NECC , providing students with autism valuable opportunities to gain real-world work experience in our hotel environment. Internally, we continued our recognition initiatives, celebrating our Colleagues of the Month and the Manager of the Quarter , whose contributions exemplify excellence and care. We were also proud to be recognised in the wider hospitality industry. Chi, The Spa was awarded Favourite Facial Treatment in Abu Dhabi at the FACT Spa & Wellness Awards 2025 , while Ho Gan was named Mixologist of the Year — a distinguished achievement for our Food & Beverage team. In support of our broader corporate responsibility efforts, we commemorated Nurses Week with a meaningful visit to Salma Hospital and took part in a number of impactful community and sustainability initiatives, including World Environment Day, a charitable bedding donation campaign, and a successful blood donation drive.
