AUGUST 2025
A Message ... FROM THE GENERAL MANAGER
BRAD LUENSE - CONTROLLER
Brad Luense, the new Controller at The Tonto Verde Association, has had a productive and fast-paced first month. He’s been busy getting familiar with clubhouse operations, meeting staff, and connecting with many of our year-round residents. With the busy season approaching, Brad is looking forward to meeting even more members and appreciates everyone’s patience as he learns names and faces. Much of Brad’s initial focus has been on the transition from the Association’s third-party accounting service to an in-house accounting model using the Jonas software platform. This major initiative includes establishing new banking relationships, implementing updated software, and developing improved procedures for processing financial documentation. The goal is to complete the transition by the end of August, with internal accounting operations beginning September 1st. Member statements issued in October (for September activity) will have a slightly different format as they will come from the new Jonas system. As the General Ledger is being set up, Brad continues to explore the capabilities of Jonas, refining the system to ensure it delivers timely and accurate financial data. He remains committed to financial transparency and encourages members to reach out if he can assist in any way.
