In Acts 19:11-22, the Ephesus Re lievers w ith Paul, must have had some power in th e community, for it says in verse 19, “many of them also, which used curious arts, brought th eir books together and burned them before all men.” We would th ink the preaching of th e gospel influenced our neighbors, if we saw them coming w ith all th eir books on Occultism, Spiritism , New Thought, Theosophy, and Christian Science, and making a big bonfire of them in the public square. Love W ins Neighbors.— “Years ago a plain Methodist preacher stood for days in the seething streets of th e E ast End of London, muddy w ith men and women.
