Nestled in the heart of the Clear Lake Loop of the Great Texas Coastal Birding Trail just south of Houston, Pearland offers some of the best springtime birding in the Texas Gulf Coast. Pearland offers several habitats that are critical for birds flying in for migration. As these birds fly in from across the Gulf of Mexico, they typically prefer habitats that are just inland. With numerous parks that house a multitude of birds, you’re guaranteed to see something new whether you’re a novice or an experienced birder.
Some species can be spotted seasonally during the migration times, but birding is available year round for many species calling Pearland home.
