Hand Bending, Raceways & Fittings. Conductors and Cables. Basic Electrical Construction Drawings. Residential Electrical Services. Electrical Test Equipment. LEVEL TWO Alternating Current. Motors. Theory and Application. Electric Lighting. Conduit Bending. Pull and Junction Boxes. Conductor Installations. Cable Tray. Conductor Terminations and Splices. Grounding and Bonding. Circuit Breakers and Fuses. Control Systems and Fundamental Concepts. LEVEL THREE Load Calculations - Branch and Feeder Circuits. Conductor Selection and Calculations. Practical Applications and Lighting. Hazardous Locations. Overcurrent Protection. Distribution Equipment Transformers. Commercial Electrical Services. Motor Calculations. Voice, Data, and Video. Motor Controls. First Aid, CPR and AED training. LEVEL FOUR The primary purpose of the fourth year class is to provide apprentices with comprehensive instruction on the practical application of the National Electric Code.

Electricians install and maintain electrical power, communications, lighting, and control systems in homes, businesses, and factories and typically do the following: • Read blueprints or technical diagrams • Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems • Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers • Identify electrical problems with a variety of testing devices • Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools • Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Code • Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment
