Refund Policy and Registration Process T o enroll in a course : 1) C omplete the registration using the QR code or go to : https://www.catec.org/ page/adult-education-and-apprenticeship-programs and click on Register Today! 2) Payment: Once registration is complete An initial deposit fee or full tuition payment is required before a student is officially enrolled in the course. If a student’s tuition fee is sponsored by an employer or agency, confirmation of funding will be requested, but an initial deposit fee is not required by the student. 3) If you are paying as an individual you can: a) R each out via telephone to make a CC payment over the phone b) C omplete the CC authorization form and email it back to catecadultreg@k12albemarle.org. c) P ay via check in person or mail to 1000 E. Rio Rd., Charlottesville VA 22 9 01 d) Pay via cash (must be exact change) in person 4) Prior to the start of In-person courses you will receive an email with instructions for your 1st night of class. For Online courses you will be emailed when your course materials arrive and are ready for pick-up (This may take a few weeks as they are mailed to us here at CATEC). You will also receive instructions on how to access your course.
Please check your email for CC Authorizations or Payment Plan Agreements if you requested either during registration, Course Updates, Course materials and access information as well as other important updates. Applications for Scholarships are due in July, October, December and March. Once your application has been submitted and reviewed we will reach out via email to let you know if you received a scholarship award. You must submit all required documents when you apply to be eligible.
Refund Policy: Online classes are non refundable . In the event a class must be cancelled, full refunds will be made. Self - pay Students:
Refund or Course Drop requests for In-person courses must be made by email 7 days prior to the class start date. No refunds given less than 7 days prior to the start of class. There are no refunds on textbooks, payment plan fees, or online courses. Refund checks will be issued if you pay by cash or check (this process can take up to 3 weeks). Credit card payments will be refunded to the same credit card.
