Person Specification

Criterion 1 Ability to build strong collaborative partnerships at all levels and create a teamwork environment to achieve organisational goals, taking the initiative as required and upholding and embedding the principles of equality, diversity and inclusion at all times.

Criterion 2 Experience of managing ‘In- House’teams of project professionals who in turn are responsible for appointing and overseeing external consultants and contractors to ensure complex technical projects in sensitive environments with multiple stakeholders, ensuring they are delivered on time, to budget, and agreed quality standards.

Criterion 3 Ability to communicate clearly, confidently and

persuasively with people at all levels, both orally and in writing. Ability to explain technical issues to technical and non-technical audiences in a manner that is clear, easily understood and well presented.

Criterion 4 Relevant professional

membership of a construction or property related body such as the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), Royal Institute of British Architects, (RIBA) Chartered Institute of Services Engineers (CIBSE), Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB).

Criterion 5 Ability to build and maintain effective relationships between staff, managers, contractors and stakeholders ensuring that everyone is, at all times, treated with dignity, courtesy and respect while influencing the behaviours of others at all levels to achieve an objective, without damaging relationships.

Criterion 6 Ability to analyse information

from a range of sources to create problem-solving techniques and draw appropriate conclusions and drivethroughcontinuousimprovement and value for money in ambiguous and uncertain situations, in order to achieve organisational objectives.
