T LEvELS ARE A NEw qUALiFicATiON FOR STUDENTS AGED 16 TO 19 wHO HAvE FiNiSHED THEiR GcSES
Each T Level is equivalent to 3 A levels and helps young people develop the knowledge, attitude and practical skills to thrive in the workplace. T Level students spend 80% of the course in the classroom, learning the essential skills that your employees need. The other 20% is a meaningful industry placement, where they put these skills into action. T Levels have been designed with leading businesses and employers, so all the knowledge and skills gained are relevant and up to date. This will give our students the opportunity to learn what a real career is like whilst continuing their studies. We have specialist staff and facilities to offer you the best learning experience with the required individualised support. Our well- established links with leading employers will provide meaningful placements within each industry setting.
A T Level qualification will enable you to be ready for work in your chosen industry, progress onto university or a higher apprenticeship. Barnet and Southgate College runs the following T Levels: • Assisting Healthcare Science • Creative Media: Content Creation and Production • Digital Infrastructure and Support Services • Digital Production, Design and Development • Education and Early Years
• Electrical and Electronic Engineering • Heating Engineering and Ventilation • Laboratory Science • Supporting the Adult Nursing Team
