Cushman & Wakefield’s Andrew Stypa and Daniel Badenhausen , based in the commercial real estate services firm’s Edison of- fice, brokered the long-term transaction. Federal Business Centers owns the warehouse/ distribution building. “Our client initially wanted to remain in Secaucus, in or- der to ensure a smooth tran- sition for its employee base,” Stypa said. “After exploring the Meadowlands market, we expanded the search slightly south to the Exit 10 market- place. The Mac Lane property presented a truly turnkey opportunity with the added benefit of a flexible and coop- erative landlord.” The building already was fit out with 8,000 s/f of office space and provided room to in- corporate a new sorting area for recycling hangers. The space is perfect and projects a great image,” Badenhausen added. “Even more impor- tantly, the building has excel- lent roadway access, which provides an easy commute for Mainetti’s employees.” n Ware Malcomb completes design and reno for Lexus PARSIPPANY, NJ —Ware Malcomb announced design and construction are now complete for the Lexus East- ern Regional Support Office and Training Center located at 300 Webro Rd. in Parsip- pany. Ware Malcomb provided full service interior design for this 38,000 s/f facility. The complete project included the renovation of 18,000 s/f of office space and 20,000 s/f of classrooms and high bay training areas. Lexus will use the training center to educate sales associates and tech- nicians from Northeastern Lexus dealerships. The office will support those dealerships and Lexus is pursuing LEED platinum certification with the USGBC (United States Green Building Council). n
