Signing of two long-term leases in Parsippany NAIHansonannounces leases at 181 East Halsey Road

ARSIPPANY, NJ — NAI James E. Hanson announced

the signing of two long-term leases at 181 East Halsey Rd. in Parsippany. Spaces of 28,300 s/f and 20,200 s/f were leased in the 69,365 s/f facility. NAI Hanson managing di- rector Scott Perkins, SIOR , represented the landlord, Jofra Realty . Next Gen IV, LLC, a distributor of Paul Mitchell products, leased the 28,300 s/f space. As part of an expansion from its other Par- sippany location on Pomeroy Rd. Zimmer Trabecular Metal Technology Inc. leased the 20,200 s/f space. “Next Gen is relocating fromUnion County and chose this facility because it wanted more of a park-like atmo- sphere for its employees,” Perkins said. “The building has a superb location with easy access to interstates 280, 287 and 80, providing an easy commute no matter where employees live throughout the state.” The building underwent recent renovations including the addition of new epoxy flooring and energy efficient lighting. The facility has ample parking with one park- ing spot for every 1,000 s/f of space. n Mack-Cali acquires 200-unit multi- family communities NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — Mack-Cali Realty Corpora- tion announced that it has ac- quired Riverwatch Commons and Richmond Court in New Brunswick. The three-build- ing, 200-unit properties were acquired for a purchase price of $41.1 million. The luxury properties consist of studio, one-, and two-bedroom units ranging in size from 623 to 950 s/f. The 95 percent leased properties were acquired from an affiliate of Ironstate Hold- ings. Riverwatch Commons and Richmond Court offer residents an impressive ame- nity package including fitness centers, laundry facilities, bike racks, on-site parking, and more. The community is strategically located within walking distance of the NJ TRANSIT train station and offers easy access to the NJ Turnpike, I-287, and Route 18. n
