Nazdar Acquires FUJIFILM Flexographic Ink Business Nazdar, a manufacturer and distributor of screen printing, wide format digital & flexog- raphic inks world-wide—has acquired FUJIF- ILM’s U.S., Canada, and Latin America screen and flexographic ink business—through a sale and licensing arrangement. Transition activi- ties began on June 24th, with transition tar- geted for completion by July 13th. Nazdar confirms that all core product attri- butes will remain consistent following the ac- quisition. Product formulations, specifications, and manufacturing locations will not change and current SDS/TDS documentation will con- tinue to be fully supported. LOUPE Americas Expands Education Pass LOUPE Americas 2026 (formerly Labelexpo Americas), the first event to take place under the new LOUPE banner, is expanding its edu- cation pass to a new ‘access all areas’ offer- ing as part of delivering an enhanced show experience for the label and package printing community. Making A Pass The new pass provides full access to all keynote presentations, breakout sessions, and hands-on workshops across the first two days of the show, plus unlimited access to the exhibit floor and show floor activities for all three days. Taking place at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois, from September 15-17, LOUPE Americas 2026 will feature a focused conference program de- signed for label and package printing profes- sionals navigating rapid change. The Flexographic Pre-Press Platemakers Association (FPPA) Board of Directors recently gathered for a strategic planning session focused on building upon the association’s recent growth and strengthening its value to members and the broader flexographic prepress community. The session provided an opportunity for Board members to reflect on FPPA’s progress, reaffirm the values that have long defined the organization, and align around a vision that will guide its work in the years ahead. Since 2022, the FPPA has achieved more than 60 percent growth in membership and nearly 63 percent growth in Annual Conference

attendance, reflecting increasing engagement across the flexographic prepress community. FPPA’s virtual Fall Workshop has further expand- ed the association’s reach, attracting nearly 100 unique participants in 2025 and demonstrating strong demand for accessible, high-quality technical education. “This session reinforced that FPPA’s greatest strength is its commu- nity,” said Aaron Pettijohn, FPPA President. “Our members value the ability to build genuine relationships, exchange knowledge openly, and Members of the FPPA Board of Directors gathered during the association’s June 2026 Strategic Planning Session, where leaders discussed priorities to strengthen member engagement, expand educational opportunities, and support the future of the flexographic prepress community.
