HITCHING TO TRACTOR
1. Keep well clear when backing up to machine. 2. Shut down tractor. 3. Trailing: Secure & Lock Drawbar Pin in Place, Connect safety chain by crossing the chains under the tongue & securing to the drawbar hitch frame of the tractor. 3PL: Secure all 3 Point Linkage safety locks. 4. Trailing: Lock out drawbar sway mechanism (fixed) 3PL: Lock up 3 Point Linkage anti-sway stabiliser system on tractor. Ensure both lower linkage arms are set to level. 5. Clean all hydraulic couplings. 6. Hoses are coded according to function. 7. Beware of high pressure fluid. 8. Plug in hydraulic hoses to respective remote ports. 9. Plug in electrical lead to tractor connection (if provided). 10. Trailing: Release implement jack & store 11. Check hydraulic cylinders are fully primed to avoid serious injury or death. 12. See Pg 22 to prime hydraulic system. UNHITCHING 1. Machine must be fully lowered. 2. Shut down tractor. 3. Release hydraulic pressure from system. 4. Trailing: Use wheel chocks. 5. Trailing: Lock implement jack in place to take weight off drawbar tongue. 6. Unplug hydraulic hoses from tractor ports. 7. Unplug electrical lead from tractor (if provided) . 8. Trailing: Remove safety chains & drawbar pin. 3PL: Remove all 3 Point Linkage safety locks. If implement jack is damaged DO NOT USE , replace immediately, or severe bodily harm may result.
