Angel White works in Eagle Rock’s Warehouse team. Her hobby is playing Dungeons and Dragons. The most common character in the game is called a mimic, which can turn into anything. Angel stated characters are interesting because they are very different in what they can do. Angel started playing Dungeons and Dragons because of the creative imagination of other players. She loves the various scenarios, worlds, and missions that the game offers. Angel mentioned that people even dress up for the game. What is Dungeons and Dragons? It is a tabletop role-playing game where players create their characters and write the description and player handbook. The characters are customized through various characteristics, skills, strengths, and abilities.
Angel’s current game group consists of six players, including the Dungeon Master who creates and controls the game while it is being played. There is not an end goal, however the main point of the game is to gain experience and level up your character over time. The group typically plays for 5-7 hours once a month.
The game uses miniatures to stand for characters, and they can be purchased or individually crafted. The Dungeon Master creates the maps for the game or uses pre-made modules available online. The miniatures are the physical representations of the characters on the board and can also be used to stand for other items, such as buildings. In the game, players can be anything they wish, but the outcome is decided by rolling the dice.
