Dr. Abhinav Mahajan, DPT, CCI, ITPT, a licensed physical therapist with California Rehabilitation in Modesto, California was recently awarded National Board Certification by the American Association of Bariatric Counselors (AABC). After completing a specialized training and education program in bariatric science he was recently credentialed as a Board- Certified Bariatric Counselor (CBC).

Abhi has been an amazing blessing to our organization! Dr. Mahajan has developed a unique specialty, designing individualized rehabilitation programs for post bariatric surgery patients. His interest in bariatric science and rehabilitation therapy inspired his post-graduate fellowship with AABC. His unique specialty, clinical experience, scholarship and commitment to public health will further the California Rehabilitation local mission and the AABC global mission of providing best practices in the care and treatment of those suffering from obesity and related disorders.
Dr. Mahajan is a Doctor of Physical Therapy practicing with California Rehabilitation in Modesto and Turlock.
