In our pages and on our website, you will find Infor- mation, Education and Inspiration, with a majority of the articles written by members of our “WCN Fam- ily” of contributors. There is something of interest to every member of the family. We hope you are blessed and become a regular reader. WCN seeks, at all times, to publish the TRUTH, regardless of “political correctness,” standing up for America’s historical Christian heritage and urging a return to biblical, moral standards. We offer very thought-provoking commentary, inspired teach- ing, real life testimonies, world, national, state and regional news, plus advice and information from experts in their areas of business and ministry -- all in the various sections of our 48-page newspa- per. In addition to providing valuable content to the Christian community, we focus equally on reach- ing those who are lost and seeking, and those who may have been alienated from church as an institution in the past. You’ll find WCN on the racks in the lobbies of grocery stores, family restaurants, shopping centers and malls and most Christian book stores. Of course, you can also find a copy at many of our “Ministry Partner” advertisers’ business and ministry locations. This is our outreach to the mar- ketplace, and we receive many wonderful testi- monies from people who have found the Lord for the first time, or returned to Him, after many years away, after finding our newspaper in a public place. Our Doctrinal Statement • There is one God, who is infinitely perfect, existing eternally as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. • Jesus Christ is true God and true man. He was

• The Church consists of all those who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, are redeemed through His blood, and are born again of the Holy Spirit. Christ is the Head of the Body, the Church, which has been commissioned by Him to go into all the world as a witness, preaching the gospel to all na- tions. The local church is a body of believers in Christ who are joined together for the worship of God, for edification through the Word of God, for prayer, fellowship, the proclamation of the gospel, and observance of the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper. • There shall be a bodily resurrection of the just and of the unjust; for the former, a resurrection unto life; for the latter, a resurrection unto judgment. • The second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ is imminent and will be personal, visible, and pre-mil- lennial. This is the believer’s blessed hope and is a vital truth which is an incentive to holy living and faithful service. conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died upon the cross, the just for the unjust, as a substitutionary sacrifice, and all who believe in Him are justified on the grounds of His shed blood. He died, was buried and arose from the dead ac- cording to the Scriptures. He is now at the right hand of the Majesty on high as our great High Priest. He will come again to establish His kingdom of right- eousness and peace. • The Holy Spirit is sent to indwell, guide, teach, empower the believer, and convince the world of sin, of righteousness and of judgment. • The Old and New Testaments, inerrant as origi- nally given, were verbally inspired by God and are a complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men. They constitute the divine and only rule of Christian faith and practice. • Man was originally created in the image and like- ness of God; he fell through disobedience, incurring, thereby, both physical and spiritual death. All men are born with a sinful nature, are separated from the love of God, and can be saved only through the atoning work of the Lord Jesus Christ. • Salvation has been made available through Jesus Christ for all men; those who repent and be- lieve in Him are born again of the Holy Spirit, receive the gift of eternal life, and become the children of God. • It is the will of God that each believer should be filled with the Holy Spirit and be sanctified wholly, being separated from sin and the world and fully dedicated to the will of God, thereby receiving power for holy living and effective service. This is both a crisis and a progressive experience wrought in the life of the believer subsequent to conversion. • Provision is made in the redemptive work of the Lord Jesus Christ for the healing of the mor- tal body. Prayer for the sick and anointing with oil are taught in the Scriptures and are privileges for the church in the present age.

Beware the Taxman!

By Rob Pue April 2025

And that’s just the federal income tax. We pay taxes on the money we earn, taxes on the money we spend, and taxes on things we own that we already paid taxes on with already- taxed money. Only our government is irresponsible enough to be in the the business of forcibly extracting so much money from people and still come out bankrupt. In addition to the federal income tax, we also pay: property tax, sales tax, state income tax, marriage li- cense fees, public school taxes, vehi- cle registration taxes, business permit fees, estate taxes, dog license fees, driver’s license fees, vehicle registra- tion fees, gasoline taxes, gift taxes, so- cial security taxes, unemployment taxes, self-employment taxes, hotel taxes, license plate fees, Medicare taxes, utility taxes, and sports sta- dium taxes — to name just a few. Basically, if you earn it, you pay in- come tax. If you live somewhere, you pay property tax. If you spend it, you pay sales tax. If you save it, inflation tax. If you invest it, capital gains tax. If you start a business, license fees. If your business prospers, you pay profit tax. If you give it away, there’s a gift tax. And in some states, if you die, inheritance tax. Once again: We’re paying taxes on the money we earn, taxes on the money we spend, and taxes on things we already own that we already paid taxes on, with already taxed money. Can you wrap your head around that? And why do we put up with it? Continued on Page 7

Historically, April 15 has not been a good day. On April 15, 1865, Abra- ham Lincoln died after being shot in the head the previous evening. Re- searchers and historians have long debated the claim that John Wilkes Booth was the assassin...and that there was a much darker truth to the story, involving a “deep state” con- spiracy that the official history books will never tell us. On April 15, 1912, 1500 people died when the Titanic sank, after hitting an iceberg. The story of Titanic has captivated hearts and minds ever since this epic disaster took place. Again, many researchers and histori- ans are not buying the official narra- tive that this was simply an accident. Why would Captain Smith, a sea- soned officer who commanded ships for the White Star Line for 25 years — and was planning to retire after the Titanic’s maiden voyage — carelessly run the ship into a known ice field on a moonless night at full speed? It’s thought by many that the sink- ing of the Titanic was more sinister than the history books will ever tell us. Many of the world’s wealthiest men were sailing on Titanic. JP Mor- gan was also scheduled to sail the maiden voyage but cancelled at the last minute. Morgan was the founder and owner of the International Mer- cantile Marine Company, which bankrolled many shipping compa- nies, including Titanic’s White Star Line. But other wealthy and influential

men, including Benjamin Guggen- heim, Isidor Straus and John Jacob Astor were on board. What did these three men have in common? They all opposed the globalists’ centralized world banking system and the forma- tion of the Federal Reserve, which was established in the US the follow- ing year. JP Morgan was one of the main proponents of the Federal Re- serve. Were 1500 souls sacrificed for the sake of globalist greed and financial control? Of course, we’ll never know the truth, but considering what the globalists have done since then, the death of a mere 1500 people is noth- ing in comparison. In 1913, the 16th Amendment to the US Constitution authorized Con- gress to impose a tax on income, lead- ing to the creation of the Bureau of Internal Revenue, which would be- come the Internal Revenue Service in 1953. And two years later, April 15

became “Tax Day.” It had previously been March 15, but in 1955, the date was extended “to allow taxpayers more time to prepare their returns, to accommodate the increasing com- plexity of tax laws and the growing number of people who were required to pay federal income tax.” Taxes have always been a part of life, even going back to colonial days. The American Revolution began due to “taxation without representation.” England was taxing the colonists on goods we imported, but the colonists had no representation in British Par- liament. Today, American citizens are being taxed on everything, with no legitimate representation in our own Congress. By the way, the Revolu- tionary War was fought over those taxes, that amounted to a whopping 3%. Today, just the federal income tax rate alone ranges from 10% for those living in poverty to 37% for those with a higher income.

Spiritual Vigilance

to the glory of God the Father.” (Philippians 2:10- 11). While this comes as a recent example, keep in mind that there is a growing number of “pastors” who deny the existence of hell; who deny that Jesus is the only way of salvation; that deny the Trinity; that deny the virgin birth of Christ; and that deny that Jesus is God. It is imperative we heed the warnings of the writers of Scripture under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit! Recently Alex Newman reported on Dr. George Barna who, through his conducted survey and re- search, revealed “that only 37% of Christian pas- tors have a working, robust biblical worldview.” No wonder, why so many are turning from the faith. Recently, a nationally televised Christian TV pro- gram carried on Christian stations and networks across the country, speakers claimed “You received Messiah; therefore, you are entitled to healing, you are entitled to financial provision, you are entitled to be free. He set the captives free.” Yes, the prosperity gospel message has bitten yet another program and continues to take captive those lacking spiritual dis- cernment. This comes from a program that, for at least four decades, was faithful to the teachings of Scripture. However, new producers of the program decided to make Jesus dependent on man in one episode, and find it vogue to misquote the Scriptures to make their errant point. Just as the devil mis- quoted Scripture in an attempt to gain an edge, so also a once solid program has succumbed to biblical error. Sadly, while there are endless examples of spiritual deception and its encroachment into many a church, it behooves believers to bolster their discernment and stay faithful to the truths of Scripture. Satan doesn’t care if it’s the secular world system or a once- solid church that opens the door to error. As long as people are deceived and led astray, it makes no dif- ference to him how it happens. We must stay alert as the Apostle Peter warned, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.” (I Peter 5:8). VCY.org

As time advances, religious deception is on the upsurge. Increasingly, individuals across the country are finding it difficult to locate sound Bible-preaching churches. Errant doctrine and compromise are running rampant. As such it is critical to remain spiritually vigilant! Why is this happening? The Scriptures give di- rect warning about false teachers and those who teach “another gospel” which is truly not another. The prophet Jeremiah wrote, “Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in My name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart.” (Jeremiah 14:14). Jesus in His sermon on the mount warned, “Be- ware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.” (Matthew 7:15). Matthew later quoted Jesus in the Olivet discourse, “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.” (Matthew 24:24). Paul spoke to the Ephesian elders, “For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.” (Acts 20:29-30). Peter warned, “But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teach- ers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them and bring upon themselves swift destruction.” He later wrote, “Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own sted- fastness.” (II Peter 2:1; 3:17). The apostle John warned, “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.” (I John 4:1). While many additional Scriptures provide warning, it is imperative that believers in Jesus Christ are alert

in understanding the times that are impacting our society and leading many astray. Recently an ELCA “Pastor” in Madison rebuked Jesus in his message. When giving his analysis of the story of Mary and Martha from Luke chapter 10, he totally misinterprets the Scriptures to bestow his anti-biblical worldview on the ears of the congre- gants, saying: “If you already didn’t like Luke, hearing implicit criticism of housework, of domestic labor, of what still is way too often known as a woman’s place. Then let me go ahead and make it worse. And say that this may actually be trying further to diminish women’s roles. It comes from the mouth of Jesus. And I really hope that it was the writer Luke that just put it on Jesus’ lips. “So, here. If it really was Jesus telling Martha not to serve, not to be a deacon, then Jesus needed to learn His lesson and stand corrected.” After pontif- icating further he said, “Take that Luke, or Jesus or whoever.” Rebuking Jesus? He is blaming Jesus for dimin- ishing women? That is far from what Jesus was doing as recorded in this passage. Jesus does not need correction! This false teacher evidently has swallowed the DEI pill and misinterprets the Scrip- tures elevating himself over the Lord. He is following the very tactic Lucifer used when he declared himself over Jesus. Keep in mind “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,

Politics.com, has been offline after being attacked by political enemies spewing vicious malware. Trying to re- store the site with the foreign “technology team” at Net- work Solutions has been one of the most aggravating experiences of my life. The only thing worse has been trying to contact the “representatives” at T-Mobile, my current cell phone company. For the past several weeks, I have not been

Being a radio talk show host for the last 26 years has been a true privilege. It has allowed me the opportunity to express my views on the air, exchange ideas with lis- teners and interview some of the most powerful and in- teresting guests in the world. After starting on the radio, I was fortunate enough to be able to launch a television show, a political comedy show, a weekly column and eventually author a book. All these activities were done to communicate im- portant ideas with the public and attempt to influence our nation’s political environment in a posi- tive way.

For me, the highlight of each week is to host the “Ring- side Politics” television show on Real America’s Voice, a network of true patriots working tirelessly to “Make America Great Again.” Several years ago, the network gave me the great honor of hosting a televised town hall meeting in our local community. At the event, there was

allowed to send a text. In today’s environment, texting is an easy and convenient way of communicating with friends and business associates. Being un- able to text is very frustrating and detrimental to business ac- tivity. Unfortunately, every time I contact T-Mobile, I reach a for- eign “representative.” After dozens of calls over the past several weeks, I have talked to no one based in the United States. While these “represen- tatives” are presumably well in- tentioned, communication with them is both difficult and exas- perating. All of this leads to uncomfort- able questions. Is T-Mobile pre- venting me from texting because I am a conservative? Do they deem my views to be dangerous? Why are they mon-

While there have been many blessings from this career, it has not been all sunshine and rain- bows. In fact, as a conservative talk show host working in the progressive city of New Orleans it has been quite a challenge. Often conservative views are labeled “racist” by those on the left. My belief that “forced bus- ing” was a failure for our commu- nities, schools, and children, as well as delaying progress in achieving the admirable goal of racial harmony, enraged one of my liberal radio show callers.

an impressive crowd, and I enjoyed working with some of the finest people on the network.

itoring my text messages?

He decided to pay for a half-page ad in the local African American weekly newspaper labeling me a racist. The title shrieked “Louisiana’s Trent Lott.” Not surprisingly, my young children and family members were less than thrilled by my enhanced notoriety. After starting my show on an independent talk station, I had periodic occasions to interview with other radio stations, owned by out-of-state conglomerates. In these interviews, I was told that if I moderated my message, became “less conservative,” there would be great op- portunities for me. Of course, this was not an option, I have always stayed true to my beliefs, for better or worse. Eventually, the daily newspaper hired me to write a regular column, as their only conservative voice. While the column was often edited to moderate the tone, I was pleased that the local community was able to read a dif- ferent point of view in a newspaper known for decidedly progressive content. All was well until I became involved in a statewide media campaign to stop the Louisiana Secretary of State, Kyle Ardoin, from purchasing $100 million in new voting machines. In the aftermath of the contentious 2020 election, I advocated that the Secretary of State move very slowly in buying new machines and not rush forward with a new contract. To the newspaper’s board of directors, my involvement in this effort was “conspiratorial” and “shocking.” I was labeled an “election denier.” While I lost the column for being so “controversial,” I am proud to say the campaign

My frustration is typical of what countless Americans often experience in trying to receive customer service on the phone. Memo to American business owners: try call centers based in this country, it will lead to customer happiness and retention. Fortunately, President Donald Trump is bringing busi- nesses back to America. He is also fighting against cen- sorship. One of his first presidential directives stated, “The First Amendment to the United States Constitu- tion…enshrines the right of the American people to speak freely in the public square without Government interference.” This order should be extended to the private sector to protect the rights of Americans, including conserva- tives, to communicate without censorship. As the President’s policy noted, the American people have a “right…to engage in constitutionally protected speech.” Yes, conservatives too.

One way I promoted the event was to make a post on my Facebook page. I figured this would be an ideal way to inform local followers about the televised town hall meeting. Well, this was unacceptable to all the faceless censors at Facebook. My page with 5,000 “friends” was eliminated, with no warning nor opportunity to appeal. I remained in Facebook “jail” for one year, until one day the page just reappeared, with no explanation. I received the same treatment on LinkedIn. When I posted on my page about a Ringside Politics guest deemed unacceptable by their censors, I lost my plat- form with approximately 6,000 “followers.” Eventually, I was allowed back on LinkedIn, but was warned to never promote one of my “controversial” guests again. Prior to Elon Musk buying Twitter, my political posts were often shadow banned on that platform as well. For- tunately, Musk has made X.com, formerly Twitter, a true hotspot for free speech, but the censors are not quitting.

Do Our Schools Have a Prayer?

By Jerry Newcombe, D.Min. April 2025

would go on later to serve as the Chief Justice, wrote this about the founders and the First Amend- ment: “The true meaning of the Establishment Clause can only be seen in its history...The Framers in- tended the Establishment Clause to prohibit the designation of any church as a ‘national’ one. The Clause was also designed to stop the Federal Gov- ernment from asserting a preference for one reli- gious denomination or sect over others.” Rehnquist gave an example from the very same men who wrote the First Amendment: “George Washington himself, at the request of the very Congress which passed the Bill of Rights, proclaimed a day of ‘public thanks- giving and prayer, to be observed by ac- knowledging with grateful hearts the many and signal favors of Almighty God.’ History must judge whether it was the Father of his Country in 1789, or a majority of the Court today, which has strayed from the meaning of the Establishment Clause.” Thankfully, since Rehnquist wrote those words in 1985 in the case of Wallace v. Jaf- fre, there have been more “originalists” rul- ing on the high court — adding needed balance to the treatment of Christian expression in the public arena. Nonetheless, the battle for religious liberty is far from over. As to the current battle, NBC observes: “Whatever happens in the Oklahoma case, more religious rights cases touching upon the establishment clause are on the horizon. Litigation is already un- derway over a law in Louisiana that would require public schools to display the Ten Commandments. A federal judge blocked the measure.” Thomas Jefferson is often invoked as effectively the “patron saint” of secularism in the public arena. But even that is a misreading of history. For exam- ple, Jefferson wrote, “In the holy cause of freedom… heaven has rewarded us.” And he added, “that it may flow through all times…is my fervent prayer to heaven.” The founders of America never intended to banish God from the public arena, including the public schools. Dr. Jerry Newcombe is the executive director of Providence Forum, a division of Coral Ridge Ministries, where Jerry also serves as senior producer and an on- air contributor. He has written/co-written 33 books, including (with D. James Kennedy), “What If Jesus Had Never Been Born?” and (with Dr. Peter Lillback), “George Washington’s Sacred Fire.”

Meanwhile, one of the great legal scholars at Har- vard in the 1800s was Joseph Story, who went on to serve as a Justice on the Supreme Court. In 1851, Story wrote a commentary on the Constitu- tion. Story wrote: “Probably at the time of the adoption of the Constitution, and of the amendment to it now under consideration [the First Amendment], the general if not the universal sentiment in America

There’s a battle right now related to religion and Oklahoma schools. Oklahoma Superintendent Ryan Walters is in favor of greater religious expres- sion in the public schools of that state. Others in the “The Sooner State,” including the state attorney general and some confused clergy, oppose what Walters is attempting to do. Walters wants school children to have access to the Bible and the Ten Commandments in school. Walters said in reference to Engel v. Vitale, the 1962 Supreme Court decision that threw out school prayer as unconstitutional: “I think they were dead wrong on that. Indi- viduals have the right to express their reli- gious beliefs. That does not stop in a school building,” Walter also said, “What I’m trying to make sure is our kids understand American his- tory.” The opposition is claiming that, in effect, Walters wants to “establish religion” in the schools.

was, that Christianity ought to receive encourage- ment from the State so far as was not incompatible with the private rights of conscience and the free- dom of religious worship.” He added, “An attempt to level all religions, and to make it a matter of state policy to hold all in utter indifference, would have created universal disap- probation, if not universal indignation.” Justice Story continued, “The real object of the First Amendment was not to countenance, much less to advance, Mahometanism [Islam] or Judaism or infidelity by prostrating Christianity; but to ex- clude all rivalry among Christian sects, and to pre- vent any national ecclesiastical establishment which should give to a hierarchy the exclusive pa- tronage of the national government.”

But what does our history show?

The First Amendment begins, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.” Histori- cally, this was understood to mean that there would be no established Church at the federal level in the United States. Even at the time the First Amendment to the Con- stitution was adopted in 1791, prohibiting a federal church, a handful of states had their own estab- lished churches at the state level, and saw no con- flict between that and the First Amendment. The last of these to wither away was that of Massachu- setts in 1833.

In other words, ac- cording to a great legal scholar writing fairly close to the founding era, the purpose of the First Amendment was not to banish God from the public arena. Jumping ahead to the twentieth century, an- other associate justice of the Supreme Court, William Rehnquist, who

Beware the Taxman (Continued from Page 3)

There was a time when we didn’t have to ask permission from the government or pay taxes to: collect rain water, go fishing, own a property, start a business, renovate a home, build a home, drive a vehicle, get married, hunt, own a weapon, cut hair, sell a product, protest, grow your own food on your own property, set up a lemonade stand or sell food. Today, you can do virtually nothing without being ex- torted by the government and obtaining their permission first. Now I’m going to quote some song lyrics for you. I’m not advocating for the song- writer or the band, but in 1966, the Beat- les released the song, “Taxman,” written by George Harrison. He got this one right. The song is written from the “tax- man’s” point of view, and the taxman says, “Let me tell you how it will be. There’s one for you, nineteen for me. ‘Cause I’m the taxman, yeah...I’m the tax- man. Should five percent appear too small, be thankful I don’t take it all... ‘cause I’m the taxman....If you drive a car, I’ll tax the street. If you try to sit, I’ll tax your seat. If you get too cold, I’ll tax the heat. If you take a walk, I’ll tax your feet... “Don’t ask me what I want it for, if you don’t want to pay some more. ‘Cause I’m the taxman.” And it ends with: “Now my advice for those who die: declare the pennies on your eyes, ‘cause I’m the taxman, and you’re working for no one but me. Tax- man.” Now recently, with the implementation of the Department of Government Effi- ciency, or “DOGE,” that agency has re- portedly abruptly stopped the wasteful spending of $115 billion dollars so far. They’re still rooting out obscene govern- ment waste and fraud and I can only say it’s about time. Because America is al- ready more than $36 trillion in debt that we can never repay. Meanwhile, Ameri- cans pay a total of $2.6 trillion annually in federal income tax. But in March, Congress passed yet an- other “Continuing Resolution” setting the “discretionary spending” budget at 1.6 tril- lion dollars. This includes an increase of $7 billion in deficit spending. As citizens, we’re required to be fiscally responsible. We all know the government is not. If the government was an individual, it would have such a low credit score, it wouldn’t qualify for even a “payday loan,” or “car title loan” or even an advance from a shady mafia loan shark. They tell us our social security, Medicare and welfare sys-

tems are broke — along with FEMA, which spent all its money on illegal aliens. But somehow, there’s always been plenty of money that appears out of thin air to cover the ever-growing deficit, and to spend on pet projects and foreign aid to 187 other countries around the world. You can argue that we’re living, once again, under “taxation without represen- tation” and you can argue that the 16th amendment was never properly ratified by the states all you want but try not paying your taxes and see what happens. So, my question is, why do we pay taxes, when the federal government has been giving “free” money to every special interest group — and nearly every foreign country in the world — racking up trillions in debt, with literally nothing to back it up, and with absolutely no accountability to anyone? The average citizen, and espe- cially those who own a business or oper- ate a Christian ministry, must account for every single jot and tittle of their income, and then hand over a substantial amount of that money to the government. The IRS has thousands of agents to scrutinize every single cent we touch. Yet the gov- ernment “loses” trillions in assets every day, spends trillions that don’t even exist, and there is no audit, no accountability, no nothing. And why do we even have cash and coins anymore in the first place? We know it’s only a matter of time before the digital “currencies” are rolled out, giving the Globalists and Big Government even more power, surveillance and control over every aspect of our lives. It’s because having cash and coins allows us peasants to maintain the “illusion” that actual “money” still exists. In reality, it’s only “digits” anyway, and there will come a time, sooner rather than later, that our paper money will become more valuable as fire-starter so we can stay warm. Yes, I’m glad “DOGE” is supposedly stopping the government waste and fraud in some areas. But when is our govern- ment going to start paying down the debt, rather than passing endless “Continuing Resolutions” that just continue to enslave American workers? You see, they’re very clever about it all. The average dumbed-down citizen re- mains blissfully unconcerned about all this, because taxes are withheld from their paychecks every week. So, they never miss what they never see. Then, they’re gleeful when they get their “refund checks” after filing taxes. Understand:

this is money the government took and used, interest-free, throughout the year. And then they simply return the excess they “borrowed” from you when you file your mandatory taxes...and people are thankful to get their refund checks! Personally, I haven’t had an income tax refund since 1988. If people had to pay their taxes quarterly, like businesses and ministries do, they would see just how much is being stolen from them, and they’d revolt. Instead, they cele- brate when they get their refunds. What a scam. On June 4th of 1963, President John F. Kennedy signed Executive Order 11110, which returned to the US Gov- ernment the power to issue currency and did away with the so-called “Fed- eral Reserve System.” Kennedy was killed on November 22nd of that year, just five months later. And Kennedy’s dead body was not even cold yet, when Lyndon Johnson rescinded that order...keeping Americans enslaved to the Rothschild banking system and en- suring the eventual bankruptcy of our nation. In America today, we labor under a heavy burden of taxation — with no rep- resentation. Although our Constitution assures us of our right to a redress of grievances, that right, like so many oth- ers, has gone the way of the horse and buggy. So, we dutifully and carefully file our taxes, being sure to declare every single cent we earn. We go along with the illusion that America isn’t hopelessly beyond bankrupt, even as our crooked politicians continue to heap ever heavier burdens on our backs, on our children’s backs and our grandchildren’s backs, should they live long enough to survive in the new Communist Amerika. It’s time for another American Revo- lution. It’s time to hold our “public ser- vants” accountable for their crimes. The Department of Government Efficiency is perhaps a step in the right direction. But I’m afraid we’re only being allowed to see this to give us the illusion of some tiny morsel of hope that things are turn- ing around for the better. I have little faith that the federal beast will ever reign in the unaccountable spending sprees... or that our so-called “representatives” in Congress will ever “pay the piper” for their fiscal irresponsibility. Our public servants have “Rules for Thee, But Not for Me.” Bottom line: if the average American

citizen handled their money the way our federal government does, they’d be in prison. But it’s even worse than that. Imagine if the average American citizen handled someone else’s money the way our federal government handles our money. They’d be behind bars the rest of their lives. They’d never again see the

light of day. But again: “Rules for thee, but not for me.” April 15 is coming, folks, and you’d better have your papers in order. If you don’t, Beware the Taxman. Email: Rob@WisconsinChristianNews.com Phone: (715) 486-8066

Theology Abandoned: The Church’s Crisis of Biblical Ignorance

By Prophecy News Watch April 2025

sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions.” (2 Timothy 4:3).

as their primary source of worldview formation rather than to Scrip- ture and sound biblical teaching. This is why we see a growing number of “spiritual but not religious” individuals who appreciate Jesus as a wise teacher but reject His divin- ity, the Holy Spirit’s role, and the reality of the Trinity. A Call to Return to Biblical Faithfulness The road back to theological literacy and biblical faith- fulness begins with the Church recommitting itself to teaching the whole counsel of God (Acts 20:27). We must: Prioritize Expository Preaching – Pastors and teachers must systematically teach Scripture, ensuring that congregants understand the full narrative of the Bible, not just isolated verses or inspirational messages. Emphasize Discipleship – Churches must foster deep, intentional discipleship, equipping believers to grow in their faith, understand doctrine, and live out bib- lical truth in everyday life. Encourage Daily Scripture Engagement – Chris- tians must be immersed in God’s Word. Churches should provide resources, reading plans, and account- ability structures to encourage regular Bible study. Correct False Teaching Boldly – In an era of confusion, pas- tors and leaders must courageously confront and correct theolog- ical errors, ensuring that congregants are not led astray by secular philosophies or distorted gospels. Model Deep Faith and Worship – The way we worship shapes what we believe. Churches must ensure that their worship serv- ices, prayers, and sacraments reflect deep reverence for the triune God rather than mere entertainment or emotional experience. A Time for Decision The decline of belief in the Trinity is a symptom of a larger crisis — a crisis of biblical illiteracy, shallow discipleship, and cultural conformity. But it is not too late. God is raising up a remnant that longs for truth, that desires to know Him deeply, and that will stand against the tide of theological compromise. The question before us is simple: Will we be counted among them? It is time for the Church to wake up. The integrity of our witness, the faith of future generations, and the very soul of the Church de- pend on it.

A recent Barna poll has sent shockwaves through the Christian community, revealing that only 24% of theo- logically-identified born-again Christians believe in the Trinity. Even worse, among self-identifying Christians, that number drops to a mere 16% — a statistic that, while alarming, should not be surprising given the in- creasing biblical illiteracy in the Church. This core doctrine of the Christian faith, defining God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in one Being, is not a theological afterthought; it is foundational to our salva- tion, our worship, and our very understanding of who God is. This staggering decline in doctrinal literacy raises ur- gent questions: How did we get here? And more impor- tantly, how do we reverse this alarming trend? The Fruit of Biblical Illiteracy The poll’s findings are not an isolated phenomenon. Over the past two decades, numerous studies have doc- umented the erosion of biblical knowledge among pro- fessing Christians. The American Bible Society’s annual “State of the Bible” report consistently shows a decline in Bible engagement. Lifeway Research has reported that only 32% of Protestant churchgoers read their Bible daily. We now live in an era where many churchgoers cannot articulate the Gospel, name the Ten Commandments, or explain fundamen- tal doctrines like justification, sanctification, and the Trinity. The fruit of this ignorance is evident: a growing number of professing believers are embracing a watered-down, cultural Christianity that bears little resemblance to the faith “once for all delivered to the saints” (Jude 1:3). The Church’s Abdication of Teaching Doctrine A primary cause of this crisis is the Church’s increasing neglect of sound teaching. Many modern churches, in their effort to attract large crowds and avoid controversy, have abandoned expository preaching and robust doctrinal instruction in favor of feel-good messages and self-help-style sermons. While encouragement and practical application have their place, they must never come at the expense of truth. The apostle Paul warned that a time would come when people “will not endure A Meeting Place For Wisconsin Christian

That time is now. Further, many pastors assume that their congregants already know core Christian teachings. But in a culture saturated with sec- ularism, relativism, and competing worldviews, we must be inten- tional in forming disciples who know what they believe and why. It is not enough to assume that attendees will “pick up” doctrine through osmosis. The Church must deliberately and repeatedly teach foundational truths. The Influence of Secular Thinkers and Social Media Influ- encers Adding to this crisis is the rise of secular thinkers and social media influencers, particularly on platforms such as TikTok and YouTube, who have become the primary “theologians” of our day. Many of these voices promote spirituality while rejecting the biblical Gospel, shaping the spiritual views of millions. While they may offer thought-provoking insights on personal growth, they lack the- ological grounding and often mix Christianity with New Age mys- ticism or self-centered ideology. The danger is not merely that secular figures are filling a void left by the Church; it is that many Christians are turning to them

For God’s Sake — Tell Folks the Truth!

By Coach Dave Daubenmire April 2025

were judged out of those things which were written in the books, ac- cording to their works.” Stay with me here. Have you ever been in a court room? Court is a place where ev- idence is pre- sented before a JUDGE who has the power to pronounce a

I suppose it is danger- ous to write about this topic…seeing how the idea of “judging” is no longer kosher in Ameri- can Christianity. In fact,

“Judge not,” a partial statement taken out of context by many American Chris- tians, is the modern command of those practicing modern soft American Evan- gelical Christianity. An all-loving, never-angry Christian God has been adopted by many Ameri- can pulpits as TRUTH languishes in the streets waiting for some brave pulpiteer to re-introduce to our American society a sin-hating, justice-loving King of kings. For those of you who might be wonder- ing, Jesus actually upped the ante on judging. Far from banishing judgment, He made it personal. The JUDGE NOT Christians fail to tell you the whole story. He made it personal regarding our own behavior.

sinful behavior IS love. It is the BEHAV- IOR that is sin. We have a duty to point it out. James 4:17, “Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.” Pointing out sinful behavior is TRAIN- ING. The Scriptures tell us to “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Training requires direction, correction, and discipline. It is SO important that the Bible tells us “whom the Lord loves He disciplines…” Saying “NO” to immoral behavior was God’s idea. If we love our family and friends, then we will tell them the TRUTH. Truth often sounds and feels like HATE. Testify to the Truth. It may leave a mark. But only the TRUTH can make one free. Web: www.CoachDaveLive.com E-Mail: Coach@CoachDaveLive.com

JUDGMENT based on the evidence pre- sented. Hence, THE BOOKS referenced in the above Scripture contain the EVI- DENCE that will be presented to the Judge. The JUDGE will pronounce guilt or innocence after reviewing the evidence (books). So…the Christians’ roll is one of a WIT- NESS. The job of the witness is to testify to the veracity of the evidence. A witness does not JUDGE, a witness TESTIFIES! Testifying is not JUDGING. Testifying is BEARING WITNESS regarding the evi- dence. EYEwitness is the most credible testimony in a courtroom. America is in a mess today, not be- cause of the lack of JUDGES, but be- cause of the lack of WITNESSES! EVERY believer is called to testify…be a wit- ness…to the Truth of God’s Word. Testi- fying is not JUDGING. TESTIFYING is presenting EVIDENCE of the TRUTH of what God’s laws say. Matthew 22:36, “Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, ‘Thou shalt love the Lord

Here is what the ONE who died for our sins actually said regarding judgment:

“Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye meet, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, ‘Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye;’ and, be- hold, a beam is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.” The admonition of Jesus was not to stop judging…but to stop judging hypo- critically. Once you clean up your own life then you can effectively clean up the life of another man. Do not criticize someone for exhibiting the same behav- iors in which you are engaging. We can only see clearly after seeing the inconsis- tencies in our own lives. Come on now…what kind of person does not judge? Our entire existence is based on judgments…should I… shouldn’t I…will I…won’t I…when, where, why, why not? It is impossible to live without making judgment calls. The Bible teaches that Jesus is the Judge. In fact, the Book of Revelation teaches us that we will ALL have a Judg- ment Day. “And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead

thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.’” Pointing out that a person’s behavior is wrong is not being judgmental. It is one of the great- est forms of love. I often hear people say that we should “share the Truth in love.” My friends, sharing the TRUTH regarding harmful,
