spirit world is and how eas- ily it can affect us.
There was an almost end- less selection of items to choose from that could be used in witchcraft. We did find the herb we were look- ing for, but there was no way we were buying any- thing in that store. (Isaiah 5:20). However, there was a list of herbs available and we did take the list with us. That was a very major mis- take. God was about to teach us another lesson about how powerful the
That lesson is too long for this article, so I will tell it next month. “For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, ‘Fear not; I will help thee.’” (Isa- iah 41:13 KJV).

After 24 years, we would like to sell Northwoods Sewing and retire.
By Harry and Hadassah Wilkinson April 2025 Two damaged lives, a yellow truck, an open road, and a life we never could have imagined. Our next stop was a step back in time. It was a re- minder of what much of our school years were like. We met a schoolteacher from a country school close to the Texas border. She had already gotten permis- sion to invite us to the school to set up and talk to the children about the tipi and the people that used them. Her class was study- ing Native American history and she thought it would be very interesting for the chil- dren. When we arrived at the school we were met with hospitality that you do not often see today. This was a small school set off by itself and, as they explained, they were pretty much forgotten by the state. They had prayer before school and be- fore meals. God was freely spoken about. The principal was a bus driver and a pas- tor. We were offered the use of a house and everything in it. We did use the washer and dryer and en- joyed the shower. It is not very often that we can get a shower. All 12 grades in the same building. The older kids watched over the younger children and we never saw a problem of any kind among the children in the three days we were there. (Proverbs 22:6). We were kept pretty busy talking to groups of chil- dren. The teachers had set up a schedule to make sure all of the classes had an opportunity to spend time at the tipi and ask questions.
The last day we were there, we went into the classroom of the teacher that invited us and the class presented us with pictures they had drawn of us and the tipi. We did find an old picture of the school, but it has since been permanently closed. One of those good memories. After some of the experi- ences we recently had with some people and the spirits that influence them, the people at the school were a true blessing to us. It was a great blessing to see a pub- lic school that honored God and taught the children the respect for others that is sadly missing in many of our public schools. We do thank God for al- lowing us to meet this group of people. The experience was such a contrast to some of the experiences we re- cently had. We arrived in San Antonio in the late afternoon and found a place to spend the night. We had met a man several days prior that had a son who was very sick. The father explained they had gone the medical route and his son was not any better. He had been looking
into herbs and when he saw that we were selling herbs, he explained what his situation was and asked if we would look for a rather hard to find herb that he felt may help his son. We prayed with him asking for God’s guidance for him as he tried to help his son. San Antonio was the first major city we were in that we thought we may be able to find the herb he was looking for. It was very easy to get the name of a store that carried a very large se- lection of herbs. The store had a big reputation and we were about to find out why. When we got to the store, it was one of those places that has a very bad feeling to it. You could get any- thing from shrunken heads to use for witchcraft to a crucifix that was laying al- most beside the head. This is just a sample of what you could buy there. For a fee, you could have some- one blessed or cursed. If you had enough faith and paid enough money, you could get someone out of jail. If the incantation did not work, it was clearly stated that it was your fault because of the lack of faith on your part.
