Jeff on Addiction/Trauma : Early in my career, I found working with alcoholics and addicts to be an extremely rewarding calling. In the ensuing decades, I earned a reputation in the community for successfully treating these survivors, and caring for them became the focus of my practice. I have great respect and reverence for those who have the courage to live on the path of recovery. About ten years ago, I began to recognize the pervasive influence of trauma in the lives of addicts.
