Most Ridiculous Fast Ever

“...being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until

the day of Jesus Christ...” - Philippians 1:6 (NKJV)

Day Five: God Can...Finish What God Started! “God never made a promise that was too good to be true.” - Dwight L. Moody A recent poll showed that while six out of every ten Americans have plans to start a business, only one out of every ten of those dreamers actually commit to following through with the idea. This points to an obvious and disconnect between ideation and manifestation. In other words, these statistics show that it is more likely for a dream to never make it off the ground than it is for people to dream at all. Because we are often on the receiving side of a plan without follow- through, it is natural for us to brace for disappointment. People often overpromise and underdeliver. And in response, it becomes easier to lower our expectations and increase our skepticism whenever a promise is made. Yet, Paul invites us to see God as someone who will follow through every time. “He that began...will complete...” God will always finish what God started in you. It may not appear like certain things are ever going to come to pass. But one thing for sure, and two things for certain, if God is behind something, what we THINK is unfulfilled is actually just unfinished. This simple reminder is both a promise from God and an affirmation of our own faith: “He that began...will complete.” Everything that arises that seemingly breaks the flow of the move of God has to bow to the reality that, “He that began...will complete!” May we move with a faith big enough to believe in God’s followthrough!

Eternal and Everlasting God, we praise Your holy name. You are a God who has never failed us yet, even when we’ve failed you. Even when we’ve failed ourselves. Because of this, we trust You to finish everything You started. Every dream. Every hope. Every prayer. If You got it started for us, we believe that You complete it. It may not happen on our timelines, but we know that You are always “on time.” Give us the faith to trust You even when we can’t see the unfinished product. You have yet to let us down, so help us to wait on You. Because if it came from You, it shall come to pass.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen!

I believe God can...
