Evidence of working in both the public and private sectors would be beneficial. NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety. Training and Experience Demonstrate a detailed knowledge of managing the maintenance of large scale engineering installations in a “live” environment and experience of developing fit for purpose maintenance strategies. Demonstrate experience of working with CAFM systems to drive through efficiencies based on established asset management principles. Experience of delivering a number of projects on time, within budget and to the quality necessary to support the KU activities including robust commissioning protocols. Demonstrate experience in the management of design, tendering, selection and appointment of third party consultants and contractors to carry out Long Term Maintenance Project works. Demonstrate a detailed knowledge of requirements to fulfil statutory compliance requirements including all aspects of fire, water (including legionella) and electrical services in a large scale operation. Demonstrate evidence of working independently to high professional standards and tight deadlines, in a multi-site environment. Demonstrate the development and utilisation of innovative KPI’s to drive improved performance in service contracts. Demonstrate the ability to work effectively as a member of a team, to a high professional standard and tight deadlines. Demonstrate evidence of preparing, managing, writing specifications for service contracts, controlling and delivering multi million pound budgets. Confident and effective when communicating with people at all levels i.e. building effective relationships; facilitating discussions with individuals and groups; dealing sensitively, patiently and diplomatically with complex and emotionally charged situations. Competent in the use of computerised systems and applications and working with applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
