The System's Efficiency
1. The wind data logger detects wind speeds exceeding 2.3 m/s within a 120-second interval, prompting the start motor to initiate. 2. Consequently, this action activates the wind turbine, allowing it to capture wind velocity efficiently. 3. Rotating blades actuate the gear system, thereby initiating the permanent magnet generator (PMG). 4. The generated energy is subsequently transferred to the connected energy storage system. 5. In the absence of sufficient wind, the stator motor engages to rotate the blades again, thereby replenishing the energy storage system.

Exhaust Heat Recovery Wind Power System
This innovative system is engineered to reclaim waste heat energy from the exhaust fans generally installed at the apex of buildings. Instead of permitting the hot air to dissipate into the atmosphere, the system redirects and converts it into usable wind energy to operate a Vertical-Axis Wind Turbine.
How It Works
Industrial or HVAC exhaust fans release hot air from inside the building.
This air, which is often wasted, contains significant thermal and kinetic energy.

2. Airflow Direction and Acceleration
Specially designed ducts capture and channel the hot exhaust air toward a centralized outlet.
The narrowing of these ducts increases air velocity, creating a strong updraft or wind stream.
The accelerated airflow is directed toward a Vertical- Axis Wind Turbine.
3. Conversion to Mechanical Energy
The VAWT’s blades spin efficiently regardless of wind direction, making it ideal for turbulent or redirected airflow.
The PMG converts the mechanical motion into electrical energy, which can be stored or used directly to power building systems.
As the turbine spins, it drives a permanent magnet generator (PMG).
