Not only does Isaiah 40:31 say that those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, and they shall mount up with wings like eagles. But it also says they shall run and not get weary, and they shall walk and not faint. That’s the goal of my life. I might be soaring as an eagle, running or maybe even walking, but whatever it is I want to keep going for the glory of God. I want to fight the good fight of faith until that glorious day when I am finally Home in the presence of my Savior.
