I can’t see, but I can make some telephone calls. If there is anyone who needs a telephone call and somebody to pray with them, I’d be glad to do it. I’m so thankful for the opportunities God gives us along the way. We keep fighting. We don’t give up. We keep pressing on. I’m old and legally blind with neuropathy in my feet and in my hands, but I want to keep going. Twice a day Millie and I get together to pray, to talk and to sing hymns of praise to our Lord. Millie is in a hospital bed. She’s on oxygen, and her memory is very limited. We hold hands, and we talk about all that’s going on. Then we pray for our friends who are in need. We go through a big list of people, and we earnestly pray for these friends and ask God to encourage them. You know what happens? We feel much better after we’ve finished praying because we know God has heard our prayers. You see, we help each other. It’s an encouragement to keep fighting for the glory of God. So many people are in desperate need all around us. I want to keep helping as long as I can.
