Chapter 1
We Shall Be Changed
One of these days the Lord is going to take us Home, or we will hear the trumpet sound at the Rapture (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18). If the Lord takes us Home, we know that absent from the body is to be present with the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:8). If we are here for the sound of the trumpet, the dead in Christ will be raised first, and then those of us who are alive and love the Lord will be caught up to be with Him forever in that place He is preparing for us. It will happen in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, and we shall be changed. Our Lord said in John 14:1-3, Let not your heart be troubled. If you believe in God, believe also inme. Inmy father’s house are many mansions and if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you and if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto myself that where I am there you may be also. We know that when He shall appear, we shall be like him (1 John 3:2). We will be changed. What a glorious day that will be. Just think, no more suffering, no more sorrow, no more heartaches, no more crying and no more death or separation. I will have a new body.
