Working with HIMMAH
Jubilee Tree Donations
Yusen Logistics UK have partnered with Nottingham based social justice organisation ‘ Himmah ’ to provide help and support with their supply chain and logistics activities. In December 2022, our Company Executive Committee Members volunteered by helping to unload incoming goods donated from large retailers and other sources, and arranged onward shipments to local Foodbanks. We are continuing to support Himmah with ongoing volunteering opportunities such as coaching, mentoring, picking and packing and logistics planning.
In June 2022, we donated 70 trees to the Queens Green Canopy, which is a not-for-profit initiative to create green spaces in deprived urban areas and schools across the UK by planting trees. Planting trees across the country will benefit our natural wildlife, provide cleaner air, reduce pollution levels, mitigating the effects of climate change. By gifting trees Yusen are directly contributing to a greener UK that will benefit future generations.
