During the height of the COVID-19 Pandemic, Gamma Sigma distributed personal protection items to members of Pine Bluff Alumni. To bring aware- ness and to prevent suicide, Gam- ma Sigma launched a social media campaign and placed information in various locations around campus relating to suicide awareness and prevention.

Because the motto for Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc, is ‘Achievement in every field of human endeavor, the members of Gamma Sigma are focused on their aca- demics. The motivation for all members is to not let the overall chapter G.P.A. fall below a 3.0 while they are students at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. In speaking with Gamma Sigma Advisor,
The Polemarch Pine Bluff (AR) Alumni Chapter, Archie Sanders stated, "The Pine Bluff (AR) Alumni and Gamma Sigma Chapters of Kappa Alpha Psi Fra- ternity, Inc. has a great relationship. The Alumni Chapter provides the direction and guidance, and the Undergraduate Chapter provides the energy and willing- ness. The success of both chapters can be summed up with the following scrip- ture, Proverbs 27:17: As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another."
